On June 6th, the Bee Motion team proudly hosted a charity gala in support of Ollie’s Army, bringing together clients, colleagues, friends, and families for a night filled with entertainment, raffles, and meaningful fundraising.
Thanks to the generosity and support of everyone who attended, performed, and donated, we are proud to share that £8,720 was raised to help families affected by Batten Disease.
It was an evening to remember, filled with uplifting moments, a strong sense of community, and a shared commitment to making a difference.

About Ollie’s Army & Why We Chose Them
One family | Two children | Fighting Batten disease
Ollie’s Army is a local charity based in Poynton, founded by the family of Ollie and Amelia, two children diagnosed with Batten Disease, a rare, inherited neurological condition that causes progressive deterioration of the brain and nervous system. It affects movement, speech, vision, and cognitive ability, and currently has no cure.
The charity was created to raise awareness of Batten Disease and to support families like theirs who are facing this devastating diagnosis. Over the years, Ollie’s Army has become a vital voice for families across the UK, advocating for better treatment, access to research, and emotional and practical support.
We chose to support Ollie’s Army because of the significant impact they have within our local community. As a charity based within Stockport, their story and determination have resonated deeply with many of us. It was a privilege to dedicate this year’s Gala Night to such an important cause and to stand in solidarity with a family whose strength continues to inspire hope and resilience.
